Added 2021-09-03 01:00:02 +0000 UTCOn June 9th, 2018, 22-year-old Cassandritz Blanc arrived at the home of his in-laws in Hollywood, Florida to retrieve some clothes for his pregnant wife, 20-year-old Martine Bernard. Shortly after arriving, Martine’s father, 68-year-old Roosevelt Bernard showed his son-in-law to his daughter’s old bedroom when there was a knock at the front door of the home. Cassandritz found the door to his wife’s old bedroom to be locked and when walked past the front door, he saw that his father-in-law was speaking to a Hispanic male. Roosevelt seemingly disappeared with the man he was seen talking to. Two days later, Roosevelt’s body was discovered severely burned in an alleyway just 80 feet away from his home. As the investigation began, information seemingly pointed towards Cassandritz and not a random stranger. But why would Cassandritz be involved in the death of his father-in-law? It wouldn’t take long to show that he was potentially covering up a different crime he was involved in.
