Free Speech or Die
Added 2021-02-14 08:58:32 +0000 UTCOn May 26, 2017, 35-year-old Jeremy Christian boarded a train in Portland, Oregon - heavily intoxicated and armed with his “right to free speech” and a knife. What happened next aboard the TriMet MAX Light Rail would forever alter the course of every single passenger onboard. As investigators eventually pieced together what led up to one of Oregon’s most horrific attacks, they discovered several alarming warning signs in the 24 hours leading up to a tragedy that many speculate - might well have been preventable.

I agree with Micah, we have to start treating each other better. And I try, boy howdy, how I've tried to see where the racists/bigots/misogynists/people who live on hate to understand them...but they make it too easy to just throw your hands up and say f*ck em, some are so far gone. Then add on the right wing hate media they consume daily and it's so hard to break through and direct their anger at those that are the real reason we are all feeling the frustration of living in America...the oligarchs, the wealthy and the corporations. I hold on to that hopium that one day America will finally live up to her rhetoric of the American Dream, the land of the free, the shining light on the hill. I have to for my children's sake. I love you all and please, be kind to one another. And please VOTE out the corrupted in both political parties, they're usually the ones that have been there for decades (except Bernie!). Look at their voting records, especially on economic issues
