Sensing a bout of oncoming psychosis related to her husband’s mental illness, she gives him a rapid dose of medicine - and phones 911. Tragically, her call for help was answered by those wholly unequipped to deal with the situation unfolding alongside Utah’s State Road 59.

THEY DETAINED HER. They punished her. For no reason. In what universe does having a mental illness make you a criminal let alone loving someone with one. He died alone. She died alone in that room. They helped no one. They saved no one. They protected no one.
