Need your input! What should I choose?

For quite some days I've been struggling with this part of the comic: I simply can't figure out what to do with the dialog. :(
It's the part where fox announces what he has in mind and we see for the first time the look of despair on Wolf's face.
Here are some ideas, and I'm opened to other suggestions as well.

I have to continuously say just how much I am a BIG fan of this comic once again, every time I see it appear in my email, I get such significant boosts of positive vibes going through my day, I LOVE this man But I will say the one that implies that his soles are "Sensitive" fits pretty well, it leaves the big bad ticklish wolfy's mind spiraling on "How does he know that, b-but what's he gonna do" suspenseful vibe, which would get his toes curling and protective, i also do approve of the pathetically stupidly sensitive feet thing tho <3 <3
