In the moments immediately following the interaction - the officer realizes she made a terrible mistake. She accidentally entered the home of a 29-year old Accountant on the floor directly above her apartment, and killed him in cold blood. But things are not quite what they seem, and it appears there may be a deeper vein of prejudice running through the Dallas Police Department than anyone was previously aware.

You know this family.. are a lot better than me to forgive her the way they did. From listening she didn't give 2 shakes about what she did.. Only about her losing her job.. Not because she caused someone to lose their life... The tears no longer draws people into feeling sorry for you.. On the flip side.. If it was a white male officer I wonder if he would have gone to jail.. vs this white female officer?. Unfortunately it's something that crossed my mind because of double standards, misogyny and the racism 😕.. it's an ugly inheritance that our society leaves behind!!..
