"Love Thy Neighbor" - Neighbors Received Death Threats

The most recent edition of Felony Friday entitled "Love Thy Neighbor" is a case that had many in uproar across the country after the early reports indicated the neighbors whose home the teens frantically tried entering for safety, did not let them inside. Some argue the initial interaction was fraught with confusion and uncertainty - that they believed one of the teen boys had the gun and was responsible for the shooting, so they were scared and did not let any of the children inside. Others have argued that they knew within a few seconds that the mother was responsible, and that they still told the children to "stay out! You're not coming in our house!" Some have viewed the interaction as an incredible missed opportunity based upon some type of bias - either based upon the children previously "terrorizing the neighborhood," or because of their race.
