Two neighbors, realizing the sounds were not in their dreams, suddenly hear frantic knocking at their front door. Three teenagers are desperately crying out for help, trying to get inside their home to safety. The couple immediately recognizes them. They’re trouble. So they decline allowing them inside. A few moments later, and all three are dead - along with their brother and mother across the street.

It is very tragic but I don’t blame them. They are woken up in the middle of the night by 3 teenagers pounding on the door. At least one of the teens is known to be violent and he and his brother have been “terrorizing” the neighborhood. The initial story was his brother shot their mom. They were afraid for their own safety. I simply cannot believe they went back to the house after seeing a sibling killed and one of them being shot.
