Thoughts on the Kendrick Johnson Series...

We have been getting a lot of hostile commentary online regarding the Kendrick Johnson episodes.  I wanted to connect with our Patrons to gauge your interpretation of this case.  Some people believe we created these episodes to "prove" that Kendrick Johnson was murdered, and that we promoted this belief throughout.  Part of our design in writing and publishing this case was to provide some critical examination of the key questions, theories, etc... surrounding Kendrick's death.  Ultimately, we did not posit what we believe to the actual manner of death - instead, we tried to provide evidence from multiple perspectives that either shed light on or cast doubt on the official story.

What are your thoughts on our approach to covering Kendrick's death?  What do you think happened to him?  Was his death a tragic accident, or the result of a conspiracy to cover-up murder?

listening from oldest episodes to newest- that being said while listening to your KJ episodes, which i have already researched the case in the past, I myself came in having a biased opinion already formed on the case since i had prior knowledge about it! That being said, you provided pieces on both sides of the argument, & i thoroughly enjoyed the episode! I do personally believe that someone or multiple people were involved in his death. But i did like how you countered just about every argument whichever way it was presented first. Like with the fact that it was suggested KJ was moved before police got there, or the newspaper in his body after the funeral home, that it was an old outdated practice & they were probably trying to avoid backlash on their part for doing that to cheaper the expenses, especially since they did the service for free. Overall- A+ episodes & i felt it was as unbiased as you could make it! I listened to Secure Storage & then immediately became a patreon member because of how different your podcast is to the others. A breath of fresh air!
