For example, on the Monday Night War booking podcast they talk about times where they had to shoot more than they typically do in a single day. And that was on short notice to make up for a technological mishap. So they'll probably just have a period of double shoots to backlog content

2024-09-06 17:52:55 +0000 UTCI’ve appreciated the way StarKid have done their virtual tickets recently. Single camera at the back of the theatre, and direct feed from the sound board. Make the ticket available a week or two after the show happens live, but before the pro-shot version goes out. You know you’re not getting the full experience, and that’s okay, but also lets you feel connected with the live audience.

2024-09-06 17:14:55 +0000 UTCI know it’s not what you’re asking, but as an international fan, who can’t get to the UK for these shows, what I’d really love would be an e-ticket live stream/recording to one of the shows. I know you can’t capture the live experience fully, and it’s an entirely separate set of logistics that’s probably not viable, but if it were, I’d definitely buy one. Not even suggesting you just make it available on YT, or here on Patreon — it’s a ticketed event, and should feel special for that reason — but I’d more than happily pay for a virtual ticket to join you in a way that doesn’t include a $1000 plane ticket in addition to the event ticket!
