I actually have two amusing anecdotes about Wandering Towers (hello, it is I, Teri) for a little Story Time!
This game has had lovely reviews online and I was very interested by its table presence for the channel. The towers STACK UP! You get it, I NEEDED IT! And also I thought it would be great for the channel but also MIIIINE!
I thought the UK Games Expo would be the perfect place to find it. However, going up to the expo for work meant I got very little time to check out the floors. I looked everywhere and it was all sold out already...
I saw someone pass the NRB stall with it in their arms and I lunged at them almost grabbing their collar and whispered: "WHERE DID YOU FIND THAT?"
At least that's how I tell the story. It was very intense in my head.
They couldn't tell me the exact location so I missed out on it.
A few days later, I finally found the last English version online - a gift from the board game Gods. I felt very worthy of their powers that day...
Second anecdote is shorter: we play tested the game at my flat and when Holly Musgrave picked up a tall tower, she managed to immediately drop it. HA HA Classic Musgrave!
Anyway, great game! Grab a copy from Zatu if you can (link in the description), it helps us a great deal - it's going to restock at the end of this month!
