Something pretty simple and basic everyone knows: If I don´t keep myself accountable for my goals/developments, no one will do it for me.
That´s why I developed different systems which help me and I thought it could be interesting for you to see my daily habits/routine, which give me a powerful feeling of control over my achievements, goals and career.
This kind of habit tracking or keeping protocol of your efforts is especially useful to achieve mid-term or long-term goals. You don´t have to use one of these fancy habit tracking apps by the way, you can also do it in a notebook/table/list.
The main idea is to keep track and visualize your goals and check, if you are moving towards your goals or if you are cheating yourself and don´t put in the necessary work/effort.
Disclaimer 1: As I mention in the video, your list/protocol can/should be way shorter. It´s not about the lenght of your list, but about consistency with some important things.
Disclaimer 2: This maybe isn´t the right tool for you and your personality. It just proved to be very effective and fun for me over the last years. Of course I went through different stages and these protocols/lists shouldn´t be too rigid and can change / be adjusted whenever your plans change.
