It's short, I know, but this is what the original version of Buildings was going to sound like! Pretty different right?

This version dates back to late July 2023 I believe, so it was one of the first songs I wrote for the album. The verses are super short, and I wrote extra bits obviously for the end product. But yeah, in this early era I was totally unsure as to what the album should sound like, and this was before I decided I wanted it to have and overall kind of folk rock tinge to it...

RJ tutorial #28: 'Slow Days' guitar tabs PLUS drums sheet music

A little bit of a double bill this week! It's been around a year since I made this song, and it comes out on streaming officially tomorrow as part of RTZ Deluxe, so it makes sense to have it here today.

It's a really easy song!!! In the recording, there's just two guitars (playing basically the same thing), drums, and vocals. The guitar is super easy, and so are the drums. In fact, as odd as it sounds, the being as slow as it is is probably the hardest part about it (for drums at least)...

Something a little different this week, since this video is the only recording of this song! It's a song I wrote for a band I was in, but it never got further than this. Do you think it's worth recording this properly?

The band was called Apocalyptic Training Program (or ATP for short), but it dissolved pretty soon after this video (taken in May 2022) just because two members (both off-screen - Kyle on guitar and Jacob on saxophone) left school in the summer as they were two years older...

Sat in the library in college with my laptop and made this, it's an idea i've had for a while, there's no words or anything yet, this is all i've got for now. it'll be on the album though.

I deliberately gave this one a very lofi sound - i was trying to go for the style of the song Xtal by Aphex Twin (it's beautiful).

I'm a bit torn now, because I do love this kind of gritty electronic sound, but it doesn't quite fit in with the glossiness of how I want other songs on the album to...

greetings everyone! today i've got a very old track (3+ years old!) that I made as part of an album I scrapped called 'Affordable Happiness'. As I said last week, this one's super simple and I'd say it's perfect for someone who wants to start learning guitar!

Thyngs get beautyful

Here's the song I'm currently working on right now. I haven't worked on stuff for a few days what with new year and all that, and this morning I woke up feeling really ill and threw up which isn't great, but I thought I'd share this voice recording so u can get an idea of what's happening!!
