This time our horrific cast plays the most miserable of games: Gloom!
Inspired by the drawings of Edward Gorey, this game features four families of weird outcasts. The players aim to make their own family horribly sad and adversary families as happy as Laurie (he is happy most of the time I swear!) by playing events and modifiers on top of them.
Cousin Mordecai was having a fabulous day looking at ducklings when he suddenly fell down a well. Oh no!
Of course, it's one of Dom's favourite games. Could you guess?

When we play kind of half forget the competitive element and end up stacking negative point cards on other player’s family members because it makes their stories even more hilarious. In one game Lord Wellington-Smythe had a small decks worth of cards on him because suddenly every card every player had made narrative sense and he had the MOST miserable life. Now every time we play we continue his story, as if it was a continuation of the previous game 😂 RIP Lord Wellington-Smythe.🪦 He’s suffered a lot of tragedies in his lifetime but his greatest is how often he is brought back to life just to suffer again 😔
