For the Tom/Voudon ability, I would've likely done something like; Votes only count for the majority (i.e. only alive votes count when there's more alive than dead, and then only dead votes count when dead outnumber the living). OR I would've made something like; after Tom dies, dead votes are worth 2 votes (or maybe 3 votes). That way it uses Tom's idea of "after I die" but also doesn't 100% confirm him after death. Nobody would notice until someone cast a dead vote AND the group have to notice the total vote number was too high AND they'd also have to realize that it came from the dead vote. so it's unlikely to happen immediately after Tom dies and be obvious

Danny Masterton

I can't imagine how a BotC legacy game would look, but I'd love to see it too!

Kimberly L

I would love to see a BOTC legacy game with these same players

Michael Hollis

Maybe he was on a break? Maybe they didn't know how bad things were to get, nor did Adam?

Michael Hollis

I discovered your BOTC series not long ago and already binged the whole thing. Then I subscribed to patreon and watched all of it here. I hope it wil come back, it's definitely some of your best content. If I'm not mistaken season 2 of in person games is coming, so looking forward to that!

No Name

Yes, if you join the subreddit of BTCT there's multiple invitations to play.

Eduardo Landa

This was the last full video with Adam in it. He is then is stealthy exiled. I wish they simply came out and told us honestly. You could simply admitted he was taking a break while things were sorted out. But no you intimated for 2 weeks he was on vacation.

Jonathan Riehn

Did you know Laurie is his demon?

Wayne Amsdon

Let's leave the final decision to the guy who is so paralyzed by indecision he won't even give his own prosecutions. lol what a game. I would be surprised if this script doesn't mostly lend to evil wins. The possibility of Daddy Ben and Holly warp the information so hard even when not in play. You need at least two Carleys per table to solve this one.

munsonster

This may be a weird question but where is isaac ? I really miss him haha

Max Quinn

Honestly same. I got so bored of everyone just yelling at eachother and explaining literally every twist and turn as "oh, but it could just be Ken fucking with us".

Emily Hogarth

Noticing that the script isn't reflecting the most updated versions of the roles...can we get an updated script?

The Writers' Room

This script is such an excellent source of Amnesiac abilities for a regular BotC game...

The Writers' Room

I now know why travellers have their power said aloud to town. It just feels unfair to have your agency of voting taken away by an unknown reason.

Kelsey Beckman

Great game. I love the bits with NRB and savor it when they get caught up in the game. Far more entertaining than watching a game on twitch.

Pete

dom, dom, DOM!

osk899

While I can see that having the roles be named after the players can be confusing, I personally love these homebrew scripts! Playing many games of the official script can lead to games being easier to solve so I love seeing everyone have to think on the fly about how situations can happen.

Derek Kern

Craziness but fun. I'm going to second Joshua though and suggest you all give us another regular game next. 😊

Caledronius

Adam: "Oh, Holly! Good choice dom!" Holly: *puts Adam straight into the frying pan.*

Jin Koo

When is season 2 coming and where can I donate? Also are there online communities to play botc?

Yannick Ribeiro

I’m normally a fan of longer episodes but this one draaaaagged. There’s only so much I can take of the good team having absolutely no idea what the hell is happening.

Will Seamon

Holly is in Tempest's old room!

Icy_Naomi

Ken did a good job but I am not a fan of home brew scripts. I realize it is free since I patronize so try not to complain but could we do a legacy game instead of BotC?

Joshua Hammack

Does anyone know where I could get the Json file for this .... it could be fun to run for my group

Nicholas Ball

Ken did a fantastic job as ST. He explained really well, which is essential for us audience viewers. He was deliberate and careful in his ST choices as well and demonstrated how well he really understood his own script and how to play it. KenRB, I hope we see it more in our Patreon exclusives! Thank you all!

Jeffra

Imma so upset about the ending 🤦🏽‍♀️ just nominate

21Pandas_

such a bonkers game. good on ken for running this on his own & get well soon ben!

Jelayna

100%! I was getting so confused about Mara's talk about her Tilly ability until I rewound to the initial roles explanation again! Still loving the content though, quality stuff

Bleees

Sit still, Sullivan. You're making me dizzy.

Steve Pellikaan

Despite having a quiet game, I think Dom had a big part in the win here by convincing Mara he was good. I spent the second half of the game thinking Mara was going to figure everything out after Holly came out with her outsider claim.

Steven Hanley

More storyteller Ken. He was Great.

Darren Maley

This was a great episode! Such a nail biting and satisfying conclusion. And congrats to Ken on running it on his own. Really good stuff. <3

Criss Warden

Minor note: As of watching this, the linked script is version 8.1 of the script. Ken specifies they are using v8.5. It'd be nice to have the correct version. There have clearly been some significant changes.

Scott Byrne

Any chance please to get a digital copy of the script/almanac so we can run our own games of this mad script? 🤣

Mark Nash

You are K-enough

CallistoWarriorQueen

Ken did so well as a solo storyteller, good for him!

Devon Hinds

YEEESSSSSS. Amazing script, so excited to watch again.

GoldenRK9

Open the desktop site (should be in the browser settings). Improves the image quality significantly.

Stephen McDaid

Gotta give Adam the m.v.p. for claiming Pete and spreading just enough b.s. to add confusion, and help push the Daddy Ben Demon world view, and making himself look sus

HWG

It’s a confirmation role like the Nightwatchman, in that once used, two players can now trust each other, PLUS the potential ability to remove a dangerous outsider, balanced with the potential to create an outsider. The “saving an outsider” reminds me of the Scholar (a Fall of Rome homebrew character). Basically, if a Tilly chooses a good player, the power goes off and now the Tilly and the other player can trust each other. If the Tilly picked an outsider, they can trust each other AND there’s now another townsfolk instead of an outsider. If they pick an evil player without telling that player, then the evil player won’t know they’re supposed to bluff turning, and the Tilly will be suspicious of them.

Jacyn Corbin

We have to see a trilogy of this script with Daddy Ben as the Demon

Brian Tuohy

Well done to Tom, in coming up with a totally mechanically-plausible fake role that could have won his team the game if it was trusted, that was so clever.

Jordan Robertshaw-Jowett

I am not a fan of homebrew scripts, but Ken’s has been a very excellent exception. I have really enjoyed these games

Daniel Ault

Yayayay so excited to see this script again!!

Sydney Richards

I really don't understand the Tilly. What is the point?

Mike

I wish there was a better image of the script, it's very hard to read on mobile.

Cory Wray

ya but you pa yfor more of them so you get evern more of them! stop complaining lol!

tomotc

This script was fun to watch once but I feel like I forget the roles every 5 minutes and am confused on what's going on half the time. Still going to watch as enjoyed the last one and 3 hours is great!

Danny Watson

Not gonna lie I was hoping not for this script again only because it's confusing with people's names and I can't remember what the roles are. On the regular scripts I can remember because they are generally simple. But 3 hours is my favourite length. I just hope for no cop out evil team wins out of nowhere lol.

Lee Dellbridge

Nearly three and a half hours? I'm never going to get around to finishing Good Omens 2. No complaints.

Michael Long

Three hour. We are so spoiled

Dradkyn
