No Dashii poisoning doesn't explain Brooke the 'Golem' not working, it only poisons townsfolk not outsiders which the Golem is, so it would've skipped Brooke and poisoned Dan in that world

Like the butler and klutz, it's a character that works on an honor system. If the real Golem nominates a second time, the storyteller would have to go with it because they cannot confirm the golem. I'm not really sure what the storyteller can do about characters like this not following the rules.

That’s fair, but in that case, I think that should be made explicit in the rules, since this is not how the rest of the powers that have a single trigger work, and is also not the way most other “may” effects work. I know it’s an experimental character, but I don’t think the rules are sufficiently clear here to say definitively “it’s considered cheating” without further clarification.

It is considered outright cheating for someone who believes they are Golem to nominate twice. You aren't allowed to do it -- it's not a thing you can test.

Since the description of the Golem says that you may only nominate once, trying to nominate again would be considered cheating. Of course, nobody could do anything against it but if you believe that you are the Golem you just don't try to nominate a second time if you want a fair game by the rules.

Would be interested in clarifying rules on this… maybe I’ve missed something. But isn’t the best way to test a Golem bluff simply to ask them to nominate again next round? The only possibility if the nomination goes through is that they are lying — good information — or possibly have been made drunk or poisoned, which is helpful to know in validating or invalidating other claims, or confirms the type of game you are in. It is not possible for The Drunk (the character type) to believe they are a Golem, since they can only believe they are townsfolk, and many demon effects that poison players passively (like the No Dashii effect) only affects townsfolk, the list of ongoing possibly sources of drunkenness and poisoning are remarkably small, so either way, this is incredible information for the good team. It seems like it should always be the meta to insist them to nominate again next round to prove their claim of Golem, and this seems like a shockingly big risk for the demon to take, even if there is a Scarlet Woman in play… especially that early.

I don’t know how it would work (I’m not smart enough to incorporate it), but it would be cool to have a version of the game where if someone is double poisoned/drunk, then they get correct info no matter what or something like that

Ken is such a smart addition to these games, he’s so intelligent and yet so chaotic. I love it! Poor Jon. I wish he didn’t take this game so personally, because it blinded him to some very rational points Holly was trying to give him. Jon if you’re reading this, remember that death is not the end!

This was a fun one! I think that for the next (non-patreon-exclusive) one, you could have a player show up after Day 1 as a Traveler, since we haven't seen any of them in the NRB games yet. It would be extra fun if it's someone we haven't seen in BotC games in a while, like Carley!
