I know a lot of people from Mexico who care and push gender inclusivity (and anti-colonial gender norms) in their immigration activism and personal lives. Like I've been so confused lately because I live in a border city and its so present in the activism. Its just become white guys mocking white 'woke liberal' women or gaysand assuming all latinos are conservative, and that conservative-ness is natural and not political in any way--which is just as offensive as telling people how to speak their language.
