Agreed - thanks! There are a lot of things (and much more research) I need to do. The video was great and was logically laid out and I could tell you'd done a lot of background research also.

It's a tough call - there is so much to consider!! We did our best to gather as much information as possible in this video to help people make a more informed decision, but even so, there is still so much to learn.

One of the doctors (mine) I trust has a Labrador Retriever that comes to the office with her. He is a bit over 1 year old and not neutered. I asked the doc about this, and she said the previous 2 lab males she had both developed cancer and died relatively young. They'd both been neutered at the more "acceptable" age of around 6 months. She also said that her research told her that being neutered may have contributed to their cancers. I have a male mini schnauzer that we got neutered at 6 months, and just about 3 months ago, got a female Labradoodle. I'm concerned for both dogs - that we neutered the Mini too early and whether or not to get the Labradoodle neutered at the "acceptable" age or wait.
