Hi Angie, I would love to know if you had a reply to this post as I also have the same issues as you. I have MS which is walking with assistance around the home but wheelchair sometimes at home but always outside - its difficult as they obviously always need to be in front of me where I can see them to make sure they and I are safe but like you I cant bend over for fear of falling which is frequent lol. So I would also be interested to know Zak's views on how we can achieve these lessons safely for our pups and us!

Hello Zak! I'm so glad I found your videos. I have a nine week old husky puppy and I'm using your videos to train him with good progress. The issue that I have is that I am disabled and I have a difficult time with my balance. I am trying to teach him many of your concepts but I think it would help if I knew how to incorporate them with adjustments for my disability. I use a cane and a walker; other times for long distances, the scooter/wheelchair. When I use the cane/walker I don't have to worry about injuring him accidentally... but my wheelchair and scooter seem problematic because of his high energy and age. The problem comes in terms of trying to teach him to walk on a leash because I cannot bend over and maintain my balance very well— he gets a little bit tangled around my Walker or cane. And frankly it's very tiring for me to bend over like that for longer than a few moments. Have you ever worked with anyone who's had a disability before? If so, what types of techniques can you recommend? If it all possible, I think it would make a great show to see how someone with a disability might be able to train their puppy. Thanks so much for your time, I appreciate it!
