DESCRIPTION: In the world premiere of ED-CAST: 25 CENTS, Sally and Kevin are feelin’ the heat in quarantine and discuss two classic summer-themed episodes of Ed, Edd n Eddy. First, our hosts return to early season 1 with ‘Pop Goes the Ed’ (often aired as the first episode despite being the second produced) and witness the Eds’ humiliating speedo-clad trip to Nazz’s sprinkler party. THEN, our hosts skip ahead to season 2’s ‘Hot Buttered Ed’, the beach episode!
[NOTE: Listeners are advised to have watched the series before listening, as we will discuss info from the series finale at will. However, if you ARE watching the series for the first time, the show was not heavily serialized so it should not impact your viewing experience in a major way. We still might spoil things though. Also I guess I'll warn you that we swear now and then.]
I forget if I've hinted at this project yet, but here it is! I've been working on this first episode since July (and planning since last year). I had to get my laptop's charger repaired twice while editing it over the past month, but it was a lot of fun editing audio for the first time in a while and I look forward to doing more of these. We are currently hoping to do it biweekly or monthly, but we'll see how hard it is to edit ep 2. We're hoping the flow should improve, we've learned a lot about how our new tech stuff works doing this pilot, and we think we'll be sturdier going forward. I realized afterward that I had forgotten to attach my new pop filter to my new mic! So look forward to that next week, lol.
