NEW PODCAST: EdCast 25 CENTS!!
Added 2020-08-31 16:01:02 +0000 UTCThat's right, even I have a podcast now! My good friend and fellow Ed, Edd n Eddy hyperfan, Sally Peck, approached me a year ago about doing a podcast. We have little to no experience and would just be winging this from our homes (Sally's in NY, and I'm in FL), so we decided to just do it for fun as soon as we could. Over that time, we bought some new equipment, brainstormed an original format that pays tribute to the show's DIY spirit and sound design, and now we're testing our mettle by becoming, as far as I can tell, the Internet's ONLY Ed, Edd n Eddy podcast!
So come along and enjoy the ride! I had a lot of fun editing the pilot episode, but we've come up with a better process for editing the future episodes, so we're currently aiming for biweekly or monthly updates, depending on how busy we are.
Our twist on the rewatch podcast genre is that on EdCast, we watch the episodes in any order we want, and typically we do so in a double feature based around a theme. The goal will generally be to pair an early episode with a later episode, in order to compare them and study the show's development over its run.
The pilot episode should be up tonight. This episode is my first audio set up so I hope you don't mind it, I forgot to set up my pop filter and I have a better recording room for next time.
