"A fun day in the pool turned into an adventure with the biggest grasshopper the girls had ever seen." Maggie and Ella are based on Judy's granddaughters, and the grasshopper is based on a species in Judy's backyard.
ATaleForChildren.com is run by Judy Ogden, a sweet woman who writes homemade books for/about her grandchildren and other kids in her family. Spec versions of those books are FREE and available on her website currently, but don't have art yet. This is her third self-published ebook, and it is $3 if you want to get it on your Kindle. A fourth self-published ebook with my cover art is already out and will be posted very soon.
Judy also offers a very affordable service, in which you can send in a form and she will write a book for you to then gift to any children/parents you know-- and I will be the artist who illustrates the covers of those books! At the moment, I believe Judy is only capable of making ebooks, but I think she's learning how to self-publish physical books in due time.
