Here's a project that's been cooking up since last October and I have hinted at in the past, but has been a little more active recently! For starters, I drew that logo, lol.
A Tale For Children is run by Judy Ogden, a sweet woman who writes books for/about her grandchildren and other kids in her family. Spec versions of those books are FREE and available on her website currently, but don't have art yet. Currently, one ebook with my cover art is already available, which I will post separately about as well, and another is soon to be posted as well. As it stands, it looks like those will be $3 if you want to get it on your Kindle or FREE if you have Kindle Unlimited.
Judy also offers a very affordable service, in which you can send in a form and she will write a book for you to then gift to any children/parents you know-- and I will be the artist who illustrates the covers of those books! Please check out her site to read or order a book, and share it with others to help spread the word. At the moment, I believe Judy is only capable of making ebooks, but I think she's learning how to self-publish physical books in due time.
Insider Info: Judy is a former coworker of mine from my office dayjob. She networked with me on her last day to help illustrate books for her, but it's still something new that she's doing on the side. Initially we were planning it to be more focused on fully-illustrated books, but to get the project off it's feet, she is starting small and I am just involved with the covers and logos for now, which is fine by me because I'm busy regardless. But if this takes off, I could be doing illustrations for the full books, so let's see what happens! I hope you guys enjoy the art! More posts about developing the art to come.
