UPDATE
Added 2020-05-25 00:57:17 +0000 UTCHey guys! I'm really sorry for letting this account fall silent for so long. It's been a tough year to keep up output, obviously with the pandemic and all, but also because I lost my Nana in February. Together, this has been a bit of a drain on my creative mood, and while I have 2+ active freelance projects, it's hard to work fast because one is a rotoscoped music video (very tedious but looking forward to posting that eventually!). The quarantine has also caused changes at my dayjob that have caused me to be much busier, although I should say I'm lucky to have a job at all, so that's a plus. Altogether, I just wish being stuck indoors meant I really had the time to do everything I wanted to do.
For right now, in freelance, I am rotoscoping that music video for Strivfe, and also illustrating children's book covers for an old coworker who's trying out self-publishing. I wish I had more time for getting back to original projects, but we are rumbling about doing a Ferrets quarantine episode, or getting back to that in general. Recently Those Friggin Ferrets was included in a cool Youtube animation crossover, which is technically the first animated appearance of Hattie and Garth's new designs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUXJDHZRUYY (Kudos to animator Anton Servetnik for capturing their personalities so well!)
That said, there are a few projects I've failed to post over the years that I could try and dig up and schedule for some intermediate updates, so maybe it's time I get on that.
...I'm curious, does anyone currently on here have any familiarity with my ooollld unreleased Ed Edd n Eddy fan project, 'Super Ed', where I was gonna animate the Eds over the audio from the movie 'Superbad'? It was never finished but I have shown a handful of people the skeleton of it that exists, and I'm thinking that might be interesting to finally post... but it is one of the dirtiest projects I ever animated (not to mention the bootleg-iness of the concept) so I've always been cautious about posting it. If I do, please understand, I just wanted the tone to fit "Superbad meets adult Danny Antonucci cartoons," I'm not typically that edgy, but I thought it'd be a cool way to have the Eds crossover into other Antonucci universes. I'd appreciate if you guys weigh in on wanting to see this in the comments, otherwise, I'll just post other stuff first.
Here's a post I once did about the backgrounds from Super Ed: https://book-o-scams.tumblr.com/post/123566550888/as-i-was-discussing-with-one-of-the-anons-the
