Strivfe - "STAR-CROSSED LOVER" Title Card

I've been commissioned to paint title cards for songs on a new album by my old friend Steve Ventresca, aka Strivfe, who I've previously animated music videos for when I was in college (and developed EEnE fanprojects with in middle-high school, lol). Here's a directory of Strivfe-related links:

This was the fifth title card painting I completed, but it's based on the first concept art that I drew.
These title cards are based on the ones that introduce AKA Cartoons (Ed, Edd n Eddy and Brothers Grunt), so many of them include direct inspiration from specific title cards. This is the first title card I painted that is mostly an original composition. The concept art and colors are inspired by an image I found on Google of a Parisian balcony at night, and then I tied it back into EEnE by using the table and chair from 'To Sir With Ed'. This ended up being the hardest to get as fantastical as Kathy's style though, so I've gone much simpler with my original title card ideas ever since, lmao.
