Strivfe - "REFLECTIONS" Title Card
Added 2019-07-16 03:14:57 +0000 UTCAs previously mentioned, I'm being commissioned to paint title cards for songs on a new album by my old friend Steve Ventresca, aka Strivfe, who I've previously animated music videos for when I was in college (and developed EEnE fanprojects with in high school, lol). This was the first title card painting I ever did and I was so proud, I couldn't believe I got it to look so painted. Here's a directory of Strivfe-related links:

These title cards are based on the title cards that play before AKA Cartoons (Ed, Edd n Eddy and Brothers Grunt), so many of them include direct inspiration from specific title cards. This one includes references to 'Mirror Mirror on the Ed', 'Oath to an Ed' and 'The Ed-Touchables'. Those shows' original title cards were painted manually by the incredibly talented Kathy Boake W and I hope my digital paintings can do them justice!
