First of all, welcome to our new patrons and thanks again to all of you for your generous support! I've been waiting for my clients to post finished versions of the freelance videos I've been animating the past 6 months, but since those final edits are apparently taking a while, I'd like to post some of the animatics/work-in-progress files I have from those projects in the coming days. Maybe one per week til I run out? Maybe one animatic and one final pass each week? We'll see if it can work out that way.
Besides the freelance work, I am finally getting some full-time hours and even overtime at my dayjob, so needless to say I'm pretty exhausted lately. Once I've finished the most recent project though, I'd like to take a break from freelance for a little bit, and finish setting up a private art blog for patrons (and hopefully there'll be time to set up a public art blog to better organize my tumblrs). The private blog will mostly focus on pitch development sketches for my main series idea, Hoop-a-Joop, but will also include other stray projects over the years, such as unused ideas from Bro Show, Those Friggin Ferrets, ideas that are yet to be titled, and maybe embarrassing old art if I can find any. It'll take me a while to get around to scanning my sketchbooks, but there's a lot of digital sketches/production art I've been sitting on in the mean time.
