I think you also have to take into account Walt's lying is to also protect her from any repercussions of him being caught. She's able to claim ignorance because she really wouldn't have known, but her knowing makes her vulnerable in that situation. Also remembering he didn't want treatment at first, but the family forced his hand. So this all falls back on them in the same sense.
