9/10 i loved it the whole way best 1st season for me personally

The reason Eris left: they had her speak on it but didnt say everything where it would be clear and easy to understand. She wants to get stronger, strong enough to be able to protect Rudy when he can't protect himself; she wants to be on even ground in terms of fighting capabilities. "His hands were smaller than mine..." With this she was pointing out the fact that she forgot that he was younger than her because he was so amazing. in the light novel she said things along the lines of "His hands were smaller than mine. his body is smaller than mine. He is still a child compared to me. that's why I told him to wait until he was 15 but I forgot about that." (not exactly what she said but it is the basic point she was tryna portray) and the last reason she was leaving was so she can get stronger setting up a situation where she doesn't have to lean on Rudy whenever she finds something difficult. This last episode they sped past the scenes pretty quick as they were tryna wrap up the first season and close this "growth arc" and they only hit the prominent points they needed to wrap up this part of the story. but all in all i definitely love this as an anime as the animation brought to life all the great scenes written in the light novel to my knowledge so far and I can't wait for season 2
