Added 2020-03-23 19:17:04 +0000 UTCHey everyone. It's been a bit quiet here beyond pokémons once and awhile. Well, you probably get why. The Covid-19 stuff feels like it's slowed everyone down to a halt and I'm honestly feeling LESS anxious about getting stuff out. I was gearing up for several Spring events like a college talk, and two shows, but it's all cancelled and rightfully so. Just feels like there's no reason not to get to work on my own things that have been hanging around too long, and I am. To wit:
I never really post about BACK on here. It's all writing for me and Anthony does the art up well. I leave that for his patreon (support him too if you can). But it's winding up for a finale. I kinda take it week by week, but it's getting closer to "The Thing" I've wanted to happen in the comic since before we made the site for it. Here's something tho, I helped with a page for this week for Anthony's benefit. Sketched out this scene of Frick having a normal one:

Pinocchio also is coming closer to the end of the book! There's a lot that has to happen still, but it's only 6 chapters away! I've been working ahead on thumbnailing the comic as much as I can, cus it helps to kick-start my engines on finishing it. I've got the next chapter thumbnailed then kept going and want to keep going even further. All the way to the end? God, that would be cool. Here's some sketches of the next chapters:

"Me and You" is still a growing concern for me. I have several more issue ideas to share, but BACK and Pinocchio deserve some love for now. Here's some sketches of those future ideas:

While I have more down time inside my house these days, I wanted to jump on a comic drawing prompt from a nightmare I had several days ago. One that woke me up and I couldn't stop thinking about it. I wanted to follow that thread and unravel whatever it ends up being, so I've begun to stream-of-consciously drawn the comic in a sketchbook. Letting it go wherever it wants, stopping whenever I feel I'm done for the day, and using what I remember of the dream as a guide of sorts. I want it to be dark and meandering and ultimately take its time. What'll come from it, I don't know and that just doesn't matter. Here's the first two pages I've drawn so far:

And Fuck–off™ is still doin' it's thing, now with an official url. Not much more to say about it. Gary Larson hasn't gotten mad at me yet.
That's all for now. And I want to add that if you have to pull out being a supporter for monetary reasons: I understand. I will always understand and support that decision. It's tough for us all right now and I don't like putting that pressure on people ever. I'd rather you get the help you need.
But if you do stay around, you have my sincere thanks. I will still be here and postin' what I can. ABP (always be postin). Have a good day, everyone.
