Nah dude its definitely connected. Doesnt mean that itll have any significance, but the writer has come out and said the two are connected in some way. Like I said that doesnt mean that they will do anything with it, it could just mean that soul eater happens in a different realm but same universe than the obvious human realm of fire force...?

I am not a manga reader so I do not know 100% what the connection is but Fire Force and Soul Eater is from the same author so it must be alluding that they share the same universe Please nobody spoil anything I just wanted to point out to him.
