barring anything else fangamer wants to add or change, if at all, this will be the cover to the vg cheats and beatums book I will be putting out with them. it's an ugly mishmash of video game things in the same pose as the famous nintendo power first issue cover.

Everything seems to be going okay with it. The layouts look rad and i trust them with making a nice book you can pick up at gaming shows they'll be at and just online and etc. it's been a while since i made a book. i felt this way when I was putting together anime club for the first time, it had just been a while and I was like "damn thats nice" when i had it in my hands.

I'm taking a week off of updating to rethink comics, finish this cover and other side projects, and write, and maybe, if there's time, actually take a break within the break I'm allowing myself.

i guess i parody often, which seems in line with me doing mad magazine stuff or makes people think like I'll go for the easy joke with it, but i like and hope that i eschew that just a bit to make it funnier than that, or else maybe everyone i look up to in comics just sees me as a hack jokeman. you'll never grow out of feeling bad, you just get used to the feeling and recognize when it's here. like a bad relative.
