state of ya boy

Thank you friends for still stickin' in there w/ me this month. Here's whats happening:

I finished Inks on Invader Zim issue 6. Barring any edits Nickelodeon might have regarding a certain scene, My big job is done. I'll be checking in on coloring and lettering but I dont have to do them. It should be out December!

I was tapped by Adult Swim to do content id animations for the channel and site and stuff. Nothing like an 11 minute short, more like these. Just little 10 second animations for the channel. They wanted "This is Fine" and said I could do however many more after that. So, I brought in friend Shmorky and we are working together to bring some old gunshow comics to life. I'm re-boarding the comics (see above image) to fit in the adult swim tags into the animation. Shmorky is animating them and we both are doing voices. It's crazy! I did a bunch of recording last night and I hope they're usable.

I'm also getting started on the kickstarter orders today. Hoping to get them done in a timely manner before I leave for home at some point to see family. Haven't been to Oklahoma once in 2015 and I need to rectify that.

Sometime in this new season of Adventure Time that just started (season 7), an episode will air that I half storyboarded with veteran boarder Emily Partridge. It was an episode about the Banana Guards. I don't believe it was one of the announced episodes so far, but I was told it will be in this season at some point. It was a crazy experience and a lot of learning that will be used in this Adult Swim stuff.

Unfortunately, He is a Good Boy is on hiatus while I finish up the Adult Swim and kickstarter stuff, but after those are done, it'll be clear skies for a while and I can bring him back. Also at some point, VG Cheats n Beatums will discontinue. It was fun to do for a while, but I just need to stop coming up with new things and finish the old (pinocchio comes to mind).
