For the first time in a while, I got ahead of my schedule. So here's the entire vignette that is going to run this week but now, instead of waiting.
It's based on a true time where me and a friend we're driving two separate trucks to go help move a friend (or me? I forget that part). It was raining heavily and he was right behind me. I stopped at an intersection and without really looking at him, I noticed there was a man propped up at the stop sign for that intersection. From the corner of my eye he just seemed to be chilling there, but it was raining HARD. So I don't know. I didn't know. I drove on.
When we got to where we were going, my friend immediately asked if I saw that guy. Yeah, but I didn't really get a good look, I told him. Friend said he stared right at the guy for about 5 seconds trying to get a read on wether maybe he was dead or just depressed and sitting propped up on a stop sign in the heavy rain. He didn't get that confirmation and we shared an uncomfortable laugh.
