Question: "What is Mal's tarot card? π"
Answer:
I once answered this for the other ROs, just notably not Mal because it was quite some time ago when their route was kept secret until you might've uncovered it while playing Book One after its release. I'll include those other answers below! This is the source that I used: here; it might be interesting to assign a card/its general themes to your Returning Visitors as well.
Please keep in mind I selected cards based on overall arcs in the series.
Mal's tarot card wasn't the easiest to settle on. There are a few that could be applied to their potential arc(s) in theβ¦

2025-06-24 04:48:11 +0000 UTCI never knew there were so many variations to the meanings depending on positioning / placement / orientation of the cards as well as just each having a yes/no type of potential. That website kinda took me down some bunny holes & back again lol. I think Iβm back up for air now. Fresh off finding myself a damn deck of Supernatural TV show character tarot cards, thank you. Didnβt know I needed that. I did.

2025-06-24 04:43:11 +0000 UTCI'm not as familiar with that video game series, though I've heard about it in passing and I think I've seen its art style because it is so distinctive. π Death is a solid guess for Mal's tarot card; its themes make it a strong contender, though I especially favor what you said about how it can appear more ominous than it actually is--typically based on an assumption or pre-concevied notion about it being 'bad'. That could come up with Mal. π It'll depend on what you learn and how you view their actions in TFS.

Though it is not something that I have been thinking about, my first thought for Mal's tarot card went to Death. Both because it appears more ominous than it actually is (though we still have a lot to learn about them) but also because of its meaning of change. Maybe more so with how they also change how they recieve MC based on how they are treated π

Very carefully toeing the line of their "role" π€« ??? MENTION!!! I'm looking. Josh, like B is the hanged man. Jam is the Fool (of course). And I've looked at so many of the major arcana and have yet to find a card for Johanna. edit... with deliberation and what I would call evil help from Alex, I have decided JoJo's tarot card is The Moon, which is fitting (questionable) since the other Moon card within the ROs (J) is the one she let down to be with Mal π€ Accepting your thrown tomatoes now.
