Incredibly well-spotted, Jord! The familial aspect is something that I'm hoping kind of flitted across readers' minds after the first mention and then might lurk from time to time as Mr. Winnifred tries to make contact again. There's a lot going on in the narrative, not to mention the Dorrans have a view about his method, to intentionally obscure it slightly. The fact that it's something that stood out to you is great! ๐Ÿฅฐ What could it be about? Well, it certainly seems to relate to TFS grandfather, but what? (RIP to the RV with the amount of revelations across books that I've carefully interwoven. They can handle it, or if not, the break will be quite spectacular.) All of your what-ifs are plausible! We shall see. Your and Blair's stance is relatable. Marjorie did come on pretty strong, potentially softening slightly in a few choices later in Book One, but she clearly views Bee a certain way. ๐Ÿงก B will also voice their view on things which might influence how Blair goes about this meeting! Blair's high snark could very well come into play and spur R to trade some banter with her while there. (I know we're like ๐Ÿค about stats sometimes equating to anxiety, so again no worries with either the guide or myself acting as a steward. Beyond that, stats in TFS will be narrative driven and logic grounded as best as I can make them! I'm sure Blair being snarky as a part of her character will let her handle it in a quippy manner, if she elects to, among others.) How easy it is for me to imagine R looking disrespectfully. They seem of the same mind; I'm psyched for you to read it. There's some sweetness (vulnerability) within their section that makes me emotional for them. ๐Ÿ–คBlair and Ruby cuddles when? (Yes, I know I'm holding this part up, lol; they'll get there, trust me.) Thank you, Jord! I'm thankful that it all went well and even more heartened by your best wishes. ๐Ÿฅฐ Take care! ๐Ÿ’š

You are! ๐Ÿ˜Œ A conspiracy board dedicated to what Marjorie says would be apt because of how she can be--lots of warnings, riddles, some shade, but also we can't overlook that she's at a facility and gone through some things. Hmmm. Thank you for being so sweet, Kay! She is doing better after the recovery period, just kind of tired and taking it easy (as she should!). I had some tea with honey a while ago; R would be proud. ๐Ÿ˜Ž That means so much to me. ๐Ÿฅน It's my hope that TFS is an escape for you all, so that realism aspect is important alongside the fact that the characters feel /real/. I also monumentally agree with what you said; it should extend to most every fact that I'm able to impart it in. Judith's TTP variations that call back to Book One are still some of my most beloved (like how her hair can be purple versus not). There is a particular scene with Mrs. Corvin that I'm betting Alex will trigger that I'm quietly (except not because I'm typing about it now) anticipating. [Hint: confessional]. She will react based on the impression your MC makes throughout the dinner. Thank you for your kind words, but also for enjoying uncovering those variations and undergoing those playthroughs to find what I've embedded (both big and small). ๐Ÿ’š It takes on your time as well to explore Fernweh, so thank /you/. I'll strive to keep building on the world. :D (Judith will have some scenes in the bank because I miss her and she's fun among others to ensure the realism of the world. I was going to make it random + pinging, yet I've had another idea to better allow readers to hunt/discover scenes with the characters. Anyway, rambling and thinking aloud now. You'll see! ๐Ÿ‘€)

Meeting Winnifred has to be the first domino to fall that leads to something big RV will discover about their family but WHAT? I have an idea or two but better keep them quiet and wait and see if either of them turns out to be true. Of course he could just be safeguarding a key for us to add to our collection that unlocks something else in the cabin. Or maybe it's another journal, because you know the RV enjoyed reading the first one so much they're dying to read another. Interacting with Marjorie will be one of [my] Blair's greatest challenges in this book I think. It didn't go down so well in Book One, especially with Marjorie's comments towards Bee, but maybe this time round she can try and be better. Maybe this will be where her high snarky stat can come into play. Have to wait for the Q&A itself to talk about anything but R seems to be on the same wavelength as Blair in that regard. It's great to know everything went okay with your mom. I know we're all sending our best wishes and hope you're making sure to take care of yourself as well. :)

Jord

who is joining me on prepping the conspiracy board and finding every Marjorie variation? ๐Ÿ˜‚ I am dedicated. Aelsa, I hope your mom is all good now! And you too! Hooray on getting through the huge Marjorie section! You deserve a big drink of your choice and only the best snacks and baked goods. Also, YES, all the variations make the characters feel REAL, not just the ROs, but I love finding A Corvin variations, and seeing how Mrs Corvin reacts to different MCs. And when Trent and Clyde and Mrs. Grendel (Grendal?) notice things, it's so gratifying when they respond to the story too and it's not static in different play throughs. I'm not sure if it's said enough - but you're incredible for all the responses that you keep track of!!! Thank you for making the entirety of Fernweh a believable WORLD.
