I'm excited to reveal the second piece that Hickory patrons voted on early this month. This is the winner of the guy poll, while the gal was shared earlier this month. It's Reese Verner! 🖤

(I shared this back in a public Extended Progress Update, but I updated James and Reese's face claims/references in our optional TFS Character Description document that can be found: here. I still need to check/add a few links. I included a new Waiter pic; same inspo source, just extra lovely.)

Another wonderful commission from the ever talented Three! This particular art piece is inspired by a scene with a romanced R. Verner in Chapter 7 of Book One when they're posing for the MC in the Fernweh Diner. It also comes up in the writing 'Afterimages of You'. I love the colors captured in this one, especially the sky resembling R's blue eyes. Thank you again! 🥰

This image features Reese Verner. He is seated at one of the retro booths in the Fernweh Diner, just barely resting his head against his hand in an eye-catching pose. It's more of a pose than him relaxing in his seat. The light pouring in from the picture windows is something he seems in command of, letting it dapple across his face and illuminate himself. His styled hair appears lighter in the sun's rays, a paler platinum bond hue, while most every single strand is styled to perfection even those that are left temptingly tousled. His irises resemble the clear, blue sky in the background. We're able to see a hint of trees in the window that hint at Fernweh's natural greenery. Despite the view, Reese remains elegant and poised rather than admiring what's out the window, possibly listening to the conversation at hand with an enviable ease. He's wearing a formal suit jacket and a high-quality button down shirt in shades of black and silver to suit the Verner colors. The diner's red and white style helps to make Reese stand out all the more. He isn't looking at the viewer, allowing you to behold him instead.
