Content Schedule for October [Public]

Hello Returning Visitors!

I hope you're doing well. 💚

Our most recent TFS: Book Two alpha drop was only a few days ago, but I'm eager to get into our upcoming content for October. My gosh, this month is packed and stacked, full of festive fall fun.

(Surprisingly, it's easy to say that^ phrase four times fast.)

Our writings are festively themed! 'Happy Haunts' features A. Corvin, their much more cautious sibling, the reckless Verner heir, and you engaging in urban exploring around Fernweh. Some places are best left undisturbed, especially in this eerie, small town. 👻 Our other writing is 'Bloodletting', which is a dark, vampire AU I've been working on for many days! There are newcomers in town who have a distinctly different appetite than the townsfolk, although this story focuses on how your romance with R. Verner takes a turn. It will be both a trick and a treat for you due to its length alongside its themes. 🩸 Because of this, Evergreens and Hickories will be receiving a part two to serve as a spicy Author's Choice. The complete piece will be about 10k, if not longer, but each section is lengthy in honor of it being October. (I'm still wrapping it up. 😌)

Beyond the writings, our content has spooky vibes throughout! 🎃 This includes posts about the characters' preferred Halloween costumes to their favorite horror films (if any) in addition to a pic that relates to R's black cat. We'll have a festive quiz to determine how you'd spend your autumn/Halloween in town, except it draws on slasher hallmarks, Fernweh lore, horror tropes, and shares character details to make it even more fun (also a little creepy, but mostly fun). 🔪 To balance out this, I included the long-awaited post about Mrs. Corvin's warning and a detail about J's truck.

October features B. Warrick's birthday! 🧡🎂 There will be a post dedicated to them encompassing reactions, questions/answers, Book Two teasers, and more to celebrate Bee.

Our Author's View is going to remain that pleading face emoji until I narrow it down further.

You'll notice that our alpha drop is likely going to be released a day early! 🌲 This is because of any Halloween celebration you might have planned and Dragon Age: Veilguard releasing. The drop's eerie content is perfect for this time of year—ooh, playing it at night. I'll see how things go.

Hopefully, this Content Schedule gives you lots to look forward to.

A lengthy writing set in a dark, vampire alternate universe that still incorporates TFS's base lore. Oscillate between past and present via flashbacks, learning what befell the town and your friends. Your romance with R. Verner is a guiding thread (or the final nail in the coffin) through this piece, but it has multiple characters, locations, and moods throughout it.

A small detail that has larger implications about J's character if we consider other in-text mentions from Trent, R (particularly while on the JR route), and B! 🎠 Those of you who visited the Old Hunting Lodge had more time with J's 'hand-me-down' truck. It will come up again for those in romance with them (solo or poly) and their besties at the Corvin dinner.

October 28th

Knowing myself, I'll probably leave [Part 1] on a cliffhanger or a dramatic moment, so if you're reading this far down on our Content Schedule: sorry. 😌 There's so much in this piece, I don't want to spoil it. Even for a slow-build, well-earned angst fiend like myself, it's angsty.
