Hello Returning Visitors!
I hope you're doing well. ๐
Our most recent TFS: Book Two alpha drop was only a few days ago, but I'm eager to get into our upcoming content for August.
Summer continues to beat down on many of us, but I've left heat out of most of our writings aside from the spicy posts. ๐ฅ 'Not a White Christmas' might bring to mind those Christmas in July, er, sometimes August, sales that retailers will offer; however, it's a R. Verner POV. This writing will address a particular detail in the '(Un)deck the Halls' writing:
You carefully drift closer to them, curious about the object in R's hands. It's a nutcrackerโฆ? This is the first decoration you saw that tipped you off to the Verners observing the holidays. It is likely an antique based on his carved body and stately, hand-painted uniform. His white beard has a hint of faded crimson staining it whereas his polearm axe glints faintly. R is pulling the lever in the decoration's back to unhinge its jaw in a one-sided conversation you can't hear.
Yes, we're getting the nutcracker's origin story, but most importantly, insight into R's childhood and scenes that link to the Returning Visitor's impact on them. ๐ฅบ๐ค It's going to ache so good. Don't worry, we have fluffiness in: 'No Laughing Matter'. This writing is difficult for me to tease because it has a specific setup, lol. Just know it's funny/sweet and involves nitrous oxide. (I used the fancy, scientific word to possibly make you look it up if you're curious.) It gives you an honest glimpse into how B. Warrick views the MC. ๐งก We have quite a few Lacuna Rambles in store, though I'll draw attention to the one with the deer emoji. It involves Mrs. Corvin and her advice (warning? guidance?)! Also, another C adjacently named individual is on the calendar. C. Schade's character inspo/aesthetic pictures will be revealed. I'll most likely try do both of them this month.
Our Author's Choice is heated, focusing on what your MC might be able to get up to in J's office. (RIP to their rolling chair, ahem.) It ties into the interruption scenario's from last month in an outside-of-the-box way. ๐ฅ Hickory and Evergreens will be discovering the answers to Q&A questions, one touches on angst concerning the Returning Visitor's view of their grandfather. Specifically, if it can cause tension with S. The other question stays a mystery until its release. (I have one question that's spicy about hard limits or another more general one. I'll decide soon!)
Our Author's View remains a confounding emoji for maximum suspense.
There will be another alpha drop at the end of the month! ๐ฒ
Hopefully, this Content Schedule gives you lots to look forward to.
>Reminder: Please be sure to see this post about adding my email address to your contacts so you can enjoy the RO character portraits. I try to make contact within 24 hours of a pledge; the spam folder can be dastardly.<
Once again I'm including an attachment of August's Content Schedule as an image file, and it is displayed above in addition to the typed out dates/content.

-Lacuna Rambles/Thoughts/Gif Reacts #1: ๐ฆ
Heed Mrs. Corvin's advice about the roads you'll travel down in Fernweh, although doesn't it seem a little pointed? I wonder what this variation might spell for a certain romance route.
August 8th
-TFS Q&A Session (๐ฒ๐)
A question inquiring about angst relating to the MC's view of their grandfather. Specifically, the question brings up S. Dorran because we know they had a unique bond with him. I'll be teasing a very hard-to-get choice that triggers during an intimacy scene.
August 11th
-MBC 2: Not a White Christmas ๐โ๐ฉธ
A R. Verner POV that provides insight into their upbringing, allows you to see their parents together as a couple, reveals why the nutcracker's beard is like that, and aches some. ๐
Just how much did you mean to the Verner heir even back then?
August 14th
-Lacuna Rambles/Thoughts/Gif Reacts #2: Milton and R ๐
I'll hint at something important that a few R-mancers might have picked up on during their date, but outside of that little, despicable mention, this is about R and Milton's recoveries. ๐ฅYour choices in the series impact Miltion Callaway's well-being beyond the first book's ending. It's wise to consider that another character will be judging how well that goes.

-MBC 1: No Laughing Matter ๐งก
A funny and fluffy writing that I won't say too much about!
However, unfiltered honey is just as sweet as regular; Bee's hopes for the MC come to light.

-Author's Choice: Office Shenanigans [Spicy] ๐ฅ
That's my working title for it! I'll let your imaginations run wild about how it all unravels and whom it involves within the station. Here is a taste:
"Come in."
"[Name], no."
J's disapproval would be more believable if it hadn't been ever so slightly breathy.
August 26th
-Lacuna Rambles/Thoughts/Gif Reacts #3: C. Schade Character Inspo! ๐
This post features descriptions, reference images, and aesthetic information for C.

-Author's View: โฐ
Aside from my commitment to suspense, I can't yet commit to a single idea for this post. The temptation to dig into a path of the nightmare is real along with something about the Corvins. We shall see which of my ideas wins out while sharing more of Book Two's content.
