It could then lead to B knowing when the MC has had a bad day, or to cook something special for the two of them on certain nights, or epic movie binges! What you said about the kindling feelings made me go: 👀. The first kiss with B does have a level of zealousness that (pleasantly) surprises the MC, so perhaps there's more to it? B loving the MC as a friend is already beautiful; I'm excited for the romance to show a new side in addition to deepening a bond that's uniquely yours.

It could give rise to bonding times that happened prior to Fernweh that showcase why they're so comfortable/secure with each other. 🥰 I loved reading Jam's thoughts, the slight turn they took when she's thinking a little too hard about Bee being out on a date. (She's relatable though! That loneliness and lowkey missing B being in the same space, making it warmer and more comfy.) Oh, I like the idea that the Fernweh trip can be somewhat of a catalyst for what's already been brewing (maybe inklings? Like the joke-flirting or lingering glances becoming too ~friendly~) between them! 🧡

It could unlock many cute moments between them while they learn how to share the space, which also mirrors what we see in TFS about how they /know/ each other's habits. Also, sweet domestic vibes. 😌🧡 Zarina's mild conflict over B not feeling that ~spark~ is amazing to me! I love how she's internally happy about it while also fretting about being supportive of B's own happiness. I like the idea of this along with other exchanges helping to build up to that 'a-ha moment' of /feelings/ towards her most special friend. 🥰 (Whether it be a slow, gradual one or one that can hit like a ton of bricks during Book One; it's neat how it changes across MCs.) You're so right! B legit buying a gift for the MC while out on a date with another person. I mean, Bee is too sweet to have meant to in a pointed manner; however, it does speak volumes about how they're naturally thinking about the MC in some capacity most of the time. They want to bring something home to them--they want them to have a treat--they want to earn a fond smile, etc. I have many soft feelings about this! I'm glad that this detail stood out to you. 💚 I did grin at your last two sentences. There was a certain zeal to that first kiss, for sure. 👀

Especially because it shows how B could of had these slow burn, kindling feelings towards you increasing over a period of time. That way, when things finally collide presently? Everything between the two of you will feel even more passionate due to the long wait for their feelings to be reciprocated 🥵🌶🌶🌶💋😘

Jam feeling lonely when B is out on a date and feeling too much relief to see B come back sans date. Wanting B to be happy but feeling very odd about the date, spending a few too many thoughts wondering how B's date was going. ("I hope B is having a great time! I hope B's having fun! Better stay up to make sure my bestie gets home and isn't kidnapped. I hope B likes their date and why am I feeling weird now? Better not examine that.") On my B route, I think the trip to Fernweh has made Jam come to terms that her feelings for B have been "more than friends" for a while.

I was headcanoning that B and Z live together and that’s why they’re so used to each other’s living behaviors and why they’re so comfortable with each other and each other’s little home quirks. Ahh this just makes my heart soar ✨ Zarina as a B-mancer is honestly internally happy over the fact that someone doesn’t give them that ‘spark’. But concern overrides that mostly because Bee looks tired and seem like they didn’t have fun. Probably early on this gives the continuous idea of ‘damn I /actually/ want to date my best friend, I want to kiss them, compliment them, and hug them and have that ‘spark’ with them; it’s not a phase and I’m actually in love with my BFF’. But still trying to support Bee no matter what because she wants B to be happy, but is still selfish enough to want them to be happy with her. Dreams, oh dreams at that moment. ALSO BRINGING THE BAKLAVA AFTER A DATE! BRINGING THE GIFT! Also the softer and more genuine smiles. Gosh, it gives me such a sweet honeydew feelings over B wanting to kiss MC for so long 😭 like WHO would buy something for ANOTHER person on a date if not with softest thoughts of ‘returning back to them makes me happier, imagining them smile when getting what they like makes me happy, coming back [home] to the makes me feel safe’. That’s the kind of vibe that baklava and those smiles give them and it melts my heart over B and MC. Gods, Bee /finally/ relaxing when they’re with MC makes me go nuts in the best way possible. You: B wanted to kiss MC for much longer than you realize. Me: *remembers that kiss scene in RO excursion* Ohhhh
