I'll be honest I was thinking of you more as the days ticked down to when this one published; it's such a great question for our taciturn yet compassionate beloved. 💙 I think that's a brilliant observation given Mal's personality and how it could lend itself to S's; there might be a chance at more innate respect there. I do think on a past post where Mal somewhat gave opinions on the Fernweh Gang, they implied some measure of respect for S compared to the others. Still, it's hard to know with Mal. 😌 Not only a hug, but a 'soft, careful' one would instantly catch Mal's attention. I worked on your question some today, actually. I'm tempted to turn it into a spicy writing, tbh??? Not sure yet, but you'll either see it next month as a Q&A or in March as a longer, heated writing. 👀💕 We shall see!

I sometimes feel like S and Mal are somehow... alike? Not as in they're the same character, but they'd probably get along/may even be friends! I think you said at some point Mal has respect for S? Also I still wanna know if Mal needs a hug. A soft, careful one.

These titbits are so delicious to read, I cannot wait for more of them /cries My MC is vigorously writing everything down in order to rizz S successfully. Loved the section with the gestures of romance, I can imagine them having a picnic and basking in the sunlight with soft kisses and grape feeding 😂
