Mrs. Dorran's creativity has transformed the B&B into a set from a classic horror movie.
James trudges through the packed hallways with a resolute determination not to spill a single drop of chilled apple cider. He keeps his elbows bent, arms raised at chest level while balancing three skull-shaped goblets. Each of his solid steps is matched by a pulsing beat. It's seeping through the spiderweb coated walls, low bass faintly quaking through him in a way that's both mildly disorienting and energizing.
He nearly nods at a skeleton after it politely waves 'hello' until he detects that it's a propโฆ
The grim reaper waves again when James skirts past it because the decorations aren't giving him as wide a berth as the party goers.

XD But, yes, this would be a delectable spicy treat. ๐ฅ๐ Thank you! You losing your mind is exactly what I was going for with that escalation between the two, the tit-for-tat. J's edge can come out, especially during the JR route when R (or the MC) pushes. ๐ I'm glad you love all of them; I enjoy writing all of the scenarios for them. In the game, I'll be able to tailor it even more with some size difference stuff, etc. Thinking about Ruby and James in particular, but in general, you can get some unique things! (For instance, in Book One, when it's Reese with Jane, he's taller than J in one of the candle lighting scenes and is more smug about it, but in all the others, you'll see R being a little annoyed about that height difference. The scene is better than my summary. I just think they're all neat is the point. XD Lots of fun things to consider. ๐)

It was fun getting to explore their dominant side and playing that off of how R can be so ~intense~. Thank you for your kind words, Chani. :D

She loves bossy, dominant Reese (and jealous, apparently, because jealous Reese is freaking awesome), but James, too?? James is much more low key about it, but that look on the dancefloor, and him grabbing her wrist to keep her still? Good thing he was holding her up, because she would've been a puddle on the floor at that point! ๐๐๐
