Happy Birthday J. Corvin! 💚 [Public]

In honor of J. Corvin's birthday, I collected/revamped some writings about them to share with you. I tried to mix sweet, bittersweet, and spicy—a trail mix of J! 🥰

How would J react to the MC saying that they can hold the whole world in their hands and then holding/cradling J's face?

Initially, J appears somewhat startled by your gentle action, but doesn't shy away from your touch. Their expression softens when you call them your whole world; it's a fond look that makes their tiredness not seem as noticeable. They take a moment to truly look at and admire you before leaning in to kiss your forehead, each cheek, the tip of your nose, and then finally chastely kiss your  lips. "You are my galaxy," J whispers the words in the minimal space between you. "I wouldn't ever want to occupy a space that you aren't in..."

where does J like to kiss and be kissed by mc?

No worries! I've not answered this before... They like more traditional lip kisses, but I added some that they would also be prone to giving or like receiving.

J likes to give: gentle forehead kisses (they tend to do this when leaving for work etc.) and kisses pointedly and intentionally above your heart (if you're comfortable with that and deeper in romance).

J likes to receive: I think J would be accepting of most anything from the MC because the attention is coming from you. A palm kiss when they are cupping your cheek or reaching for you would make them melt.

a recent post you reblogged (the one with being known is love)  made me think of a scenario where mc and j are doing something or other,  and one of them says "you used to do that when we were younger, too" 🥺

You're exactly right that J does remember little things about the MC because even after all the time apart, they were unable to bring themself to try and forget them. The MC may also recall things about J depending on your choices. One of the choices in Chapter 5 of Book One is nostalgia themed and written with a lot of feeling.

Below is a short writing based on the ask; yes, it's a little angsty.

“Idle hands,” you remark with faint amusement, watching the way J twiddles their thumbs while reading over a lengthy report on the desk. Their hands rest on the edge of the table, fingers loosely laced together so that their thumbs may rotate slowly about one another as if winding up a length of invisible string. Boring school lessons and waiting in line was often met with J doing this; occupying themself in a non-obvious, calm way. “You used to do that when we were younger too...”

The dry report on parking regulations has become further unreadable. J was listening to you, while still trying to get through each sentence about fines and penalties, but now their intense green eyes alight on you. Surprise and faint disbelief are poorly hidden in their expression, lips parting a touch before the words they want to say are just as quickly swallowed down. Remembering things about you extended beyond habits or idiosyncrasies, until the childhood memories shaded and re-colored Fernweh into a place J found it hard to live in after you left. “It’s just a childish habit,” J quietly admits, flattening their palms against the surface of the desk to be still.

“I didn’t say it was a bad one...” you point out, frowning slightly.

J says nothing, picking up the report in both hands and focusing on it and not how you remain in their office while everyone else has left. You may leave again too. They need to grow up...

...You want to leave a hickey on J? Okay, in theory. They have a job that puts them in public view to a degree, so the thought of bearing a mark you left is met with some hesitation. It being from you makes them fine with it.

They prefer holding you while you're doing it, possibly even softly instructing you so they feel a part of the process. Kissing along their skin to warm them up before you start nipping/sucking may make them more comfortable.

Marks on the chest and thighs are preferred, but you could likely get away with leaving one on their neck. They would just button up further and shoot you a look when dressing for the day. It's like a reminder/secret in one. 🥴
