Extended Progress Update: May 12 2023

The alpha content drop is impending, most likely 24 hours from now with how I like consistently scheduling things so they can be viewed as TFS pick-me-ups throughout the month. I do want to thank you for your support in addition to your excitement! I won't get too much into the drop so you can discover its content for yourself; plus, it will have its own post on May 13th. 🌲

It's my intention to offer you relatively frequent, content-rich drops that I hope you'll want to explore!

This brings us to my mention of the TFS Discord, which can make that exploration aspect more intriguing for you and other Returning Visitors. Certain scenes/exchanges are choice-dependent, stat-dependent, or even linked to combinations of choices across books. The writing throughout Book Two is tailored to your MC, including how they handled certain events in Book One. I'm confident even your playthrough of this first drop will differ from another patron's because of the combinations of past variables weaving together on top of the obvious choices. It might be fun to swap theories as to why or to help others unlock scenes!

Aside from all of the alpha content hype, I have still been writing, of course. This section is heavily branched by the nature of the MC's RO route, so I've been steadily working on each of the paths that also have different scenes within them thanks to a certain enigmatic someone wanting to pop up at times. 👀 How those appearances differ have been entertaining to write since it's more obvious/pointed on certain routes than others. I won't say too much now.

Here's an excerpt from Book Two:

"You're real." J's muttered conclusion carries in the quiet space, something they must be aware of from how they glance down at the desk within seconds. "I mean, you're really here, [Name]? Where's A? I—It's nice to see you, but is everything okay?"

I wonder why J would think the MC isn't real? Maybe they are working too many long hours?
