Valentine’s Rei concept + thoughts
Added 2020-02-11 21:11:43 +0000 UTCI want to make a valentine illustration, so I started drawing some ocs in alternate outfits. I chose Rei, Aether and Vlad for these ideas. I’m not sure if I’ll finish anything before V-day due to commissions, but I’ll try to pump something out..for now, here’s a look at Rei! I used my copics for this, so the other side of the page is basically unusable...
⭐️ The Thought Process ⭐️
I always associate pigtails with young love for some reason, so I gave her exactly that for this design. Ribbons and hearts are also associated with Valentine’s Day, so there’s a lot of that. I didn’t really think a lot while drawing but I made sure to remember these small dumb thoughts while thinking of what outfit to give her: Short frilly dress, ribbons, and hearts. And red. But maybe the color should be a peachy pink? I’ll think about it.
