✂️ WIP Mod Reveal: Snatched — A Hair Story

Hey y’all! I’m working on something major and I had to share. Introducing my newest social interaction mod:

💬 Snatched: A Hair Story

A hair-based social mod that lets your Sims finally talk about the hairstyle they’re rockin’. Braids? Bantu knots? A 30-inch bust down wig? Natural curls? Yup — we’re talking about all of it.

🔥 THE CONCEPT

This mod is built on one powerful idea:
If your Sim is wearing a hairstyle — whether it's base game, Maxis match, or CC — they should be able to speak on it.
Not just look cute. Not just exist. Talk their talk and let that hair tell a story.

Each hairstyle will trigger new:

• 💬 Social Interactions ("My current hairstyle is...")

• 🎭 Unique Buffs (confidence, judgment, pride, insecurity, etc.)

• 🗞️ Story Notifications (with flair and realism)

• 🧠 Opportunities for storytelling and roleplay based on looks alone

Because let’s be real: Hair is culture. Hair is mood. Hair is identity.

💁🏽‍♀️ WHAT’S IN IT SO FAR?

We’ve already built out the Female Category with over 40+ hairstyles and counting. These are grouped by style types like:

• Protective Styles (braids, twists, locs)

• Natural Hair (afros, twist outs, puffs)

• Wigs & Weaves (bust downs, HD lace installs, colored wigs)

• Silk Pressed & Relaxed

• Updos & Formal Styles

Each one will bring a new vibe to gameplay, encouraging self-expression, pride, gossip, admiration, judgment, and celebration around hair.

Male category is in progress now, so don’t worry — the fellas getting laced too.

✨ WHY THIS MOD IS NEEDED

Because representation matters.
Too often, Black hair (and textured hair in general) is overlooked in gameplay dialogue. With this mod, we’re making hair a topic of conversation — not just an aesthetic. Whether your Sim is rockin’ 4C coils or a silky unit, it means something.

And for the storytellers, family players, slice-of-life lovers, and machinima creators?
This is a whole new layer of realism and depth.
