I don’t know if they still have it, but I still remember clearly a short film on animation principles and techniques with Robin Williams at Disney Hollywood Studios. They had this whole thing on color tone and mood that influenced me quite a bit. I do take pride in my coloring improving as I’ve gone along, and keep trying out different color palettes for different moods.
The third panel is also my favorite Japes and Loin I’ve drawn in a while.

It’s funny you bring up Disney; I don’t think any of your fans have missed the Disney (or even Bluth, for that matter) influence on your work. In some far flung future (read: about five years from now) when some alternatively-named branch of Disney starts producing porn toons, I imagine they will look like this
