In another stretch where I feel the need to revisit an earlier drawing that I felt didn’t quite live up to its promise. I mean, I’ve been doing this for more than 11 years and over 1,000 drawings— it’s gonna happen. Anyway, I like this Zatanna a lot better. Hope you agree.

Jackanapes/Wonder Woman Crossover Commission

For those wondering, no I don’t mind doing non-canon commissions of my characters. It’s an honor that people enjoy them so much, and getting paid more to draw my own characters is kind of a no-brainer. Also very fun to draw Diana in my cartoony style.

I’d have to say I really struggled artistically in 2024. I think it was an animation piece that I spent tons of time on (and never came to fruition) that really broke me, but it’s not really a good sign when every month you think about going on hiatus, but don’t, because you worry you might not come back from it.
