Ruined Theater (25x30)
Added 2023-10-17 12:05:51 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Let me present to you the Ruined Theater, the second map for the Ruins & Relics theme.
At its height, the Burbric Empire had brought its culture to many corners of the continent. In the furthest corners of their realm they built theaters and amphitheaters. When the Empire collapsed many of these places were abandoned and neglected, left to fall to ruin. Now most of these buildings have crumbled, or are torn down for resources.
Some people speak of ghosts of the old Burbric people that haunt these places. Old spectators, trapped for eternity in age old plays and haunting those that intrude and disturb them. These spirits can be heard singing wailing songs at night and whispering lines of old plays during the days.
Other places are occupied by bandits and outlaws who made it their hideouts, fortified and guarded. From these ruins they terrorize nearby areas. When these places aren't occupied by bandits or ghosts, they are often the home of monsters, such as trolls or giant spiders.
