This week went sideways, but that happens when you have a kiddo. I already know going into this next week things are going to be messed up as well because of sickness and days off for childcare. So no editing. I’m gonna need to just schedule two days as soon as I’m done with this draft just to knock some of this out.
The big ass goal is to finish Book 3’s rough draft this week. I have a massive chapter 51 which needs to be broken up, but then I have 9ish chapters to go? The endings of an arc/book are always rough for me because it's difficult to know where to end things. So it might be 9 more chapters, or it might be 12. I don’t want it to be before chapter 58 either way but we will see.
Today I received the first colorized version of the cover and let me tell you - holy smokes! This book is on fire. I can’t wait until I can share it with everyone.
Besides writing news, Tuesday is supposed to be an amazing weather day and I’m gonna clean off the grill to fire up a steak. fingers crossed The first meal on the grill of the season and its only March.
But what I’m really waiting for is fruit season here. The first peach is always a favorite.
