Book Three: Rough Draft - 46/60
I am on a roll with book 3, which is heading toward the final battle. The writing is coming today in a way that I love, but I’m a little unsure if 60 chapters is going to be enough. This one might go a little long at 62 or 63, but we will see.
The new cover artist is doing their very exciting thing. I can’t wait to pull the book together and eventually have it on my bookshelf.
In the bits of time I have outside of working on TWD, planning for my next series continues. The blurb is pretty dang rough, and needs work but I’m hoping to have something to show all of you in a few weeks. The prework before I start writing a book takes forever since I like to let things sit as I think about them in the back of my mind. Once I start writing I get on a roll.
My writing focus is on That Which Devours and I don’t see the series wrapped up anytime before 6 books if not 8. It has more story to tell after that but it depends on how it does if I get to tell more of Alex’s story.
Outside of writing time, I’ve been cooking more, which might be Alex’s fault given all of the things she eats. With the weather here slowly creeping toward some sun, I’m excited to get the grill out but given the hail we received this week, it will be a bit.
